Today I woke up and realised that I am accountable for my own choices and actions. I came to acknowledge, I can take my own leadership to improve my life balance as well as facing everyday challenges. And so can you...
Lead.er.ship (n) the capacity to lead..a team's project. one self to complete. lead to do the thing you want to obtain or achieve. To put things in motivation drive ...
When we hear the word " Leadership", we often think of a team leader in work related or a person who takes the lead of a group of individuals to order their position to produce. A leader takes the risk of managerial and worker responsibilities, however their ego can get in to the way once they lost faith and drive. For me, I see that leaders forget the key role, that is understanding the position as a team leader and why they want to lead as well to present a good image of possibilities.
A leader is not just a person above you at your boring 9 to 5 job with a high salary than yours. You can show good ethic, drive and good examples to your fellow workmates and family. More importantly for yourself.
After I learned a thing à two about leadership (Edx.org / CatalystX) I realised I can lead my own path taking on the fundamental skill by following examples of the EACH method.
An Example how I approached ways to learn language of Français.
E = Empowerment to pursue interest, regardless of hearing loss.
A = Accountable to make time to learn language.
C = Courage myself to get on a plane to go to France.
H = Humanity by showing respect and interest to culture.
EACH may be a helpful tool to aid any individual having difficulties balancing work or goal accomplishments.
Lets give another example of an individual who has a busy work schedule Monday to Friday and wants to complete their MOOC (Massive Open Online Course)
- Empowered to make commitment to complete course and excel.
- Accountable to make time for study and holding responsible for performance.
- Courage to put personal interest aside to achieve what needs to be focused.
- Humanity that the person admits mistakes.
EACH has certainly improved my method of achieving a more effective way to balance my life, lersure & work schedules.
I highly recommend anyone who is struggling to follow a plan or delaying their needs or wants in their lives and find a self leadership way to possibly tick off a goal on their bucket list. No harm looking into the idea of EACH, who knows you could help you to apply EACH theory to help to achieve that particular task or goal.
You can lead your own leadership.
