House is a circus.

B K

One day I woke up, in a major Canadian city filled with soaring skyscrapers, along the lake Ontario's north-western shore, in the city of Toronto. Through my glassy blue eyes, I like to call it "Mini Manhattan". The city is filled with many nicknames such as "T-dot, T.O, Torono" and a few others as over the years there seems to be a new term to describe the city as it is very multicultural and creative. Who ever you meet in this diverse and artistic city, that person to whom you engage a social conversation with, is most likely to be from somewhere else in Canada, or even from another country, the best part is that everyone in T.O. has a story to tell and brings something unique to this place.

In 2006, 2 months after I arrived from Los Angeles, I was living downtown Toronto near the intersection of "Queen & Crack" (Queen St & Bathurst St), up the street from the beer store, which however was very convenient esp during the harsh winters, Living in a two storey house sharing with 12 foreigners in a only with four bedrooms on Markham St. I was living with 3 guys from England, 4 Australians, 1 canadian girl, a couple living in the basement. Everyweek we would have about 2-3 friends staying at our house for a weekend, even for a few weeks. The house was total chaos but in a good way. So many different charactors and personalties. We all met at the Canadianna Inn and after 2 months we were desperate to get out as enough was enough in the hostel. You can only live in a hostel for a certain amount of time. Most of us were on a working holiday visa program, and yet some were working here and there, some had steady full time work. I had 3 jobs in 2006-07. I worked in a tile manufacturing warehouse, for Casinos 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday then I would catch a bus then get a subway to downtown, worked in a backpackers from 5pm-9pm, Monday - Friday and Sunday mornings. Saturdays I was working at random jobs. Funny enough, I was able to still have a life and socialise after work and get trashed at parties or clubs, get my dick wet, hang-out with my housemates as well as explore the city on my own terms.

Once we moved to the house, we didn't have any furniture, all we had was a big ass table, a portable stereo system, one laptop with no internet and bunch of broken chairs we found on the streets. For a short period of time, I was the only one that had a bed. I couldn't be fucked sleeping on the floor, esp after physical work. The amount of arguments and certain frustrations with housemates was actually quiet entertaining since we didn't have a TV. I used to wake up at 5am and my roommate with his girl would be at it and it never bother me, like I would get up and get dress for work, punch a bong, have quick chat with them while they got groovy under the sheets. It was quite impressed how they were able to keep fucking and have a conversation with someone. Mountdrew was roommate one of the best roommates I've ever had over the years. Total legend.

I remember this one time, I received text from housemates around 2pm and they were planning on having a house warming party. I was all for the party of course. So that afternoon, I informed all my friends at the hostel and said, they were all welcomed to come.

Saturday afternoon comes rolling around, my housemates and myself set everything up for the party, we found a couch and a mattres on the street and manage to get through narrow front doorway. As the sky turned black and stars brighten up, at this point there was only about 20 people at our party, it looked kinda depressing. Snotchy (one of my housemates) ask where my friends were ? I said "Don't worry, they will come, believe me they will come" Shorty, the entire French club and Spanish crusaders arrived, the house was rockin crazy as you could imagine like an American college movie.Things did get out of hand, but none of housemates or myself did nothing about it.

I had a room called the"red room" as it had red walls & contrasted well with the wooden floors and a view through the 1.5m x 2metre window to look out towards the downtown area.(The best room in the house without a doubt) From the room, you could see the stunning city view through the huge window. I really was showing off my room during that party. I was able to get this girl from Chile to check the"red room", I already knew she was into me as we made out in a club weeks before the house party. Once I closed the door, my pants went down, before I could realise, she had began sucking Junior, like a pro as if she couldn't wait no longer for a popsicle. I can't lie but damn, I don't wanna know what or how she practiced. It's still in one of my top 5 BJ list today. Minutes later, I pulled her up and we faced the window, I take control from behind as I have one hand on her hip and the other on her left breast. Nothing in my head only "I'm loving both, booty & City view"

The next day, the house was just so trashed, from that, I learned something that day, don't go to the hostel and tell everyone there's a party at your crib, they will bring their friends and their friends will bring friends and so on...

After my experience at the house, around April 2007, I felt it was time for me to leave the circus and try something else in Canada, I had the chance to go work in the oil fields and make some serious dough, although my heart wanted something else something different. I was really obsessed with the French Canadian culture as I was teaching myself french during 2006. I moved to Montréal to have a experience of something not so western and with an European tongue. I still stay in touch with most people from the house of circus. I court up with the lads from the U.K. during my time in London years later. We just spoke about our crazy moments at Markham Street . It is an unforgettable experience of my time in 2006.

It was perfect.
